    A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

    Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we head into the final stretch of the school year, this is a meaningful window to help students finish strong—both academically and in their habits and routines.

A quick 3rd grade update for our community: Mrs. Abigayl Macias’s last day with students will be April 16 as she begins her maternity leave. We are grateful for the care and dedication she has given to her students and wish her all the best in this special season with her family.

Mrs. Jennifer Throop will step into the role of full-time 3rd grade teacher, supporting both Red and Blue Path students for the remainder of this year and continuing in that role next year. Our Academic Advisor, Nick Testa, will continues to support families alongside Mrs. Throop.

Additionally, 5th and 7th grade students will participate in Physical Fitness Testing next week. Please see your child’s teacher’s email for specific details.

Thank you for your continued partnership as we move through a strong finish to the year.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Knapp

A NOTE FROM MRS PETERSON, the music teacher:

Hello families! Our 2nd Music in Action is coming up THIS WEEK (April 14th /15th) I've included some information about it below:

    Music in Action

    Who: Your students :)

What: A time for students to share with their class a musical talent (a song, playing an instrument, dance, poetry, chant, music video, cheer, etc.)

When: April 14th/15th during music class (1:30-2:00 min. max)

Why: promotes performing, encourages having courage to stand in front of people & also teaches students how to be a good audience member

If playing an instrument, your student will need to bring it to school (or they can record themselves and send me the video via email). I am planning to bring a keyboard for any pianists that want to share their talent :) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at rpeterson@amhcs.org
