A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Heritage Flex Academy Families,

As we start Week 6, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to HFA parent and Firefighter, Mike Carter, for being our special guest at last week's Red Path Patriot Day assembly, and to Escondido Fire Station 2 for being our guest at Blue Path’s Patriot Day assembly.

Next week, we will celebrate International Dot Day! Please see the details below. Students are encouraged to wear dots to school on this day, as it is considered a free dress day. However, please ensure your students adhere to our free dress day guidelines, which include:

  • No spaghetti straps
  • No tank tops
  • No off-the-shoulder tops
  • No short skirts or shorts (must be modest and reach mid-thigh)

Thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,

Sandi Knapp
Principal

SUPPORT FOR THE SPILLANE FAMILY

Dear HFA Families,

One of our AHCS families has recently experienced a heartbreaking loss. The Spillanes are part of our school community, with four children attending HFA, Heritage Elementary, and ECHS.

At this time, the best way we can support them is by collecting gift cards.

  • Meal gift cards will help ease daily routines.
  • Gift cards for essentials or family activities will provide support as they adjust to life as a one-parent household.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 20, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Latter Day Saints, located at 14826 Fruitvale Rd, Valley Center.

Thank you for surrounding the Spillane family with care during this difficult time.

Warmly,
Sandi Knapp and the AHCS Administration

It’s going to be a fun morning, and we don't want you to miss this opportunity to practice our homeschool habits together and connect with each other!
